Penn Trail worked with The Nature Conservancy to complete a trail assessment and conceptual design for several trails at McCabe Preserve. The phased project prioritized improvements to Bennett's Walk, a popular 3/4-mile trail to a scenic dock and picnic area. The project involved realignment of portions of the trail to create a more sustainable trail, along with widening and surfacing the trail with a custom aggregate mix to provide accessibility and stability. The first phase was complete in 2026.
