PROJECT DETAILS

In 2017, IHEC began the process of planning and executing a process to address nearly 100 years of wear & tear on the 150 mile bridle trail system. The goal of the Trail Assessment and Master Plan process is to “serve as a guide for improving the current trail system based on best practices for equestrian trail design and maintenance management, leading to a more sustainable bridle trails system with lasting benefits for current & future riders, the community, and the Green Areas within the Village.” Penn Trails LLC was selected to complete a comprehensive plan, which consists of both the Phase I Trails Assessment Process and Phase II Master Planning Process.
